Torpedo Coffee
Restaurant Buildout
3D Exterior Signage
Our work for Torpedo Coffee takes us to the Park Hill neighborhood in Denver, CO. I helped design primary exterior signage, visualize and install window signage, produce the main menu system, and design the user experience throughout the space.
The exterior signage is an extension of their branding. In a lot with exclusively the same signage treatment for the surrounding businesses, a fun and happy go lucky Torpedo Man draws your attention very quickly. I rendered the shape and structure of the figure in a 3D modeling software and worked with a local sign company to have it made out of fiberglass and foam.
Window Signage
The window graphics are the second and more bold piece of information you see as you walk up from the street. It was my job to take measurements and produce detailed specs for the my teammates to create fun and inviting on brand vinyl graphics based on my recommendation of the surfaces available. After the build out was done, we went back to install the graphics as a team due to their size in nature.
Menu System
Once you move inside the space you are greeted with a bright and lively menu system on the left and right of the register. I helped design the concept of the rails menu as well as the metal riveted menu. From concept to production, I prepped and painted the steel panels as well as cut down the poplar rails and custom laser cut letters and supplied them to out client for him to install.
Overall Build Out
Beyond this, I helped consult on paint colors, walls for artwork, and install the decorative elements that help the space become so inviting once you order your coffee.
