Farmers Market Bar

Happy Leaf Kombucha began in Denver, Colorado in 2013 with the sale of their kombucha at the Cherry Creek Farmers Market. Through their growth and expansion they worked with MATTER to design and make a custom farmers market bar suitable for Happy Leaf to setup their product with ease at these seasonal events.

My role was to take an earlier concept and revise the overall design to incorporate better hardware for structure as well as find ways to make it lighter and easier to fold during use.

The Final Product

The result is a recessed honeycomb pattern in 3/4” plywood that reduces a significant amount of material weight while allowing it to still maintain its overall form and functionality.

Each bar-top is CNC cut, hand assembled for production, and can be folded up into a flat object for easier transport.
