Diamond Dangles

Shown here is a further exploration of the combination of plexiglass and recycled wood aesthetic found in some of my other work. This series is derived from a scrap piece that broke off a ring half way through production. Although simple in its final form, the process is very deliberate and must be approached with a delicate hand in order not to break the pieces in two. Keeping with a similar design language to my bolo tie series, each one is made from recycled skateboards and riveted to cast acrylic plexiglass.
